6-29-08 As usual, Captain Mike and Groovy gave us another excellent day of fishing.It started out kinda slow, but with a keen nose, Captain Mike and Groovy chased them down and it was on!!
I have fished with alot of Captain’s and 1st Mates on the Emerald Coast of Florida,but when it comes to who knows were the fish are….Hat’s off to the Captain Mike and Groovy…They are the best!!!
P.S. …..See you guys in October for the Rodeo… 
6-17-08 Groovy must have heard our voices saying “Fish On” in his sleep. The only time we didn’t have one on the line was while we were driving from “hot spot to hot spot”. This was our second of many trips to come! Save us a slot for June 2009! Thanks guys!
Huntress 8-12-07 This was our 2nd year with the Huntress and it just keeps getting better and better. We caught 22 fish in 15 minutes!!! It was so crazy. Groovy (First Mate) and Nino (2nd Mate) kept us all on our feet. They really worked hard to make sure we caught alot of fish on this trip. Capt. Mike is the best. Some of us got a little sea sick, but you couldn’t tell by all the fish we brought back. We would definitely suggest a 10hr trip, and of course, the Huntress has the best crew at Harborwalk Marina. See you next September for some Tuna fishing.

Huntress 6-28-07 Catch What a trip!!! The old man, Darrell, Chris and Spencer went on a 10hr trip. We limited on Snappers, Kings. We were wornout with Bonitas. We were introduced to Yellow Runners with three in the boat. And what about two Wahoos, with one weighing over 65 + pounds. We caught some other kind too. At one time we had five fish on, I think CPT Mike did that just to show is mean side. He doesn’t waste your time with catchen bait or getting to the great fishing spots. I think he has all his places in his head or in that book he is always writing in(like to get my hands on that book).
So if you want GREAT FISHING with a CAPTAIN AND FIRST MATE THAT WILL MAKE YOU THINK YOU ARE THE ONLY FISHER-PERSON ON THE GULF, DON’T CALL ANYONE OTHER THAN CPT MIKE. What a team CPT Mike and Craig are.

Huntress 6-21-07 Catch We had a great time fishing in the Gulf. Whe have chartered a boat out of Calabash, NC previously. Let’s just say, there is no comparison. My husband hasn’t stopped talking about the 50+ lb. Wahoo that he was able to snag. We all had a blast! Thank you so much for your insight and hospitality. We will definitely be returning! See you next year!
Huntress 6-27-07 Catch We had an amazing day fishing. Thanks Capt. Mike and Craig for a great job getting us to the fish and helping us get them on the boat. My dad had an expression “we caught fish until our arms were tired” and in this case it’s true. I even have a blister on my thumb from reeling. (I’m not kidding here). We caught red snapper, black snapper, bonita and king mackeral. The kids had a great time and everyone caught more than they wanted to.
We took the fillets right to a restaurant and they prepared them for us perfectly. It doesn’t get better than that. Definitely consider fishing with Capt. Mike and crew. They know where to find the fish. Thanks guys!
